Don't feed the trolls

gotank is showing classic signs of a troll. He ignores the rules, and refuses to read them no matter how many times he is told. He barges into everything uninvited. Even his age is a hint: a common troll phrase is "im 12 years old and what is this." I'm pretty sure that he has come here to piss us off.

Unfortunately, Grinite reacted exactly the wrong way. The proper response to a troll is to remain calm, delete irrelevant posts, and ban them if they continue. By flying into a rage, Grinite has done exactly what the troll wants. If he actually does leave the site over this, the troll would have succeeded more than he could have possibly expected.

The staff of any forum should remember two things. Firstly, the internet is not serious business. Secondly, you have access to the banhammer. Use it if necessary.

Listen it's to late...no one is a admin,mod or enforcer i cant get to the admin panel....grinite went through a "gohan" phase steve knows what i mean.

Hmmm... Perhaps I'm partly responsible for this? This wasn't my intention, although I was getting fed up waiting. I've been tinkering with a community lately. If this is rather permanent, we could move there. Or some other community.

Sorry guys I was not in the mood, its just it gets frustrating when you see your site is going great with 70 posts a day, to then looking and seeing that your site is dead due to inactivity.

I only said that people could grade themselves because I couldn't possibly grade 700 posts worth of RP...So no self grading...
